What is Metadata?
Metadata is what makes digital evidence admissible in court.
All Digital Evidence contains metadata, metadata can show and prove the integrity of Digital Evidence by showing the date it was created, date it was modified and date it was last opened.
It can also show where it was created in some instances, like a photo.
Every time you open or make a modification to a file or a picture that metadata is instantly changed.
