Assessing the Scene
When assessing a scene, look for surveillance cameras, potential witnesses, nearby businesses, social media activity around the area, and any location data that may place individuals there.
Like all digital evidence this is time sensitive, surveillance systems only keep video for so long so be quick and capture that digital evidence before it is lost.
